Funeral Directors for Over 60 Years

“Hilda’s funeral was just perfect in every way. Everyone commented how nice it was. Once again many thanks to yourself and Ken who helped the younger family so much when we all went to say goodbye to Hilda.” More testimonials…

Jerrams Brothers has been in business as funeral directors for over 60 years.  The business was founded by Albert Jerrams who was a carpenter, builder and undertaker in Woodstock as far back as 1930.

For many years the business carried on as carpenters and undertakers at the same time…which was commonplace in years gone by. It was only in the 1960’s that Jerrams Brothers became solely funeral directors.

Quality, Value and Service

By the 1960’s Jerrams Brothers had established itself as a business with a strong reputation for quality, value and service and this was reflected when the organisers of the state funeral of Sir Winston Churchill contacted Jerrams Brothers and asked them to be involved in the private burial of Sir Winston at Bladon which followed his state funeral.

Once the coffin on Sir Winston has arrived at Long Hanborough train station it was the responsibility of Jerrams Brothers to convey the coffin to Bladon and to attend to the burial service.

Sixty years is a long time…and families keep coming back to Jerrams Brothers. We know that this is only the case because at the time of need we deliver a good, honest service which family’s remember and value.
